My previous Parlux dryer lasted over 10 years - when it stopped working, I decided to branch out and try the GHD Helios dryer. I thought I was completely happy with the change, until the GHD dryer died just outside of its 2-year warranty period. Not willing to stick with GHD after that experience, I decided to switch back to Parlux and found the DigitAlyon at a great sale price on Style HQ. I can honestly say that so far this is the best hairdryer I have ever owned - it dries my thick hair faster than ever, and the lightweight design is great (no more sore arm)
